There have been a number of differing views
about the necessity to register before using the site.
Some people feel it should be completely open, while
others are uncomfortable with that. The compromise
we reached was to have read access to the Bulletin Board
for everyone, while restricting the Musician Search to
registered users only. Some people feel that there is not much that can be done to prevent people from abusing the site if they choose to; however, this is not the case. See the answer to "How do you monitor the site?" for more information about this. |
